About Dr. Sandra
Dr. Sandra Dreisbach is deeply committed to living a life rooted in love, compassion, and heart-centered leadership. For her, leading with empathy and serving others in community have been lifelong guiding principles. From her early days in Girl Scouts to taking on multiple leadership roles in high school, college, and beyond, Sandra finds purpose and impact in compassionate leadership.
Nature, art, creative expression, and animals are constant sources of inspiration. Family trips to Yosemite during her childhood instilled in her a profound connection to nature, blending the spiritual with the natural. Today, she finds joy in her home among the California redwoods, where she nurtures her children, plants, and animals. Whether dancing, drawing, painting, cooking, or simply embracing a creative flow, Sandra’s daily life is a reflection of her vibrant and expressive spirit.
Sandra’s passion for public speaking began in high school, where she competed nationally in speech and debate. This dedication extended into her college years, where she and a graduate classmate founded and coached a successful intercollegiate ethics debate team. Their work ultimately led to the creation of the Center for Public Philosophy at UCSC, a testament to her belief in fostering thoughtful dialogue and ethical engagement.
For Sandra, ethical practice means living by example and constantly seeking innovative ways to inspire herself and others. She is dedicated to building a “beloved community,” where love, understanding, and collaboration drive meaningful change.
